With your own private entrance, separate parking and a cozy porch, this getaway is an ideal place to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures or exploration.
Located only 15 minutes from Montpelier and an hour from Burlington, you’ll enjoy easy access to both cities while still relishing the peace and quiet of your private retreat. Included with your stay is access to our 10 acre property which includes numerous mowed paths through fields and woods, a blue berry patch and even a 2 acre Labyrinth to explore! The surrounding area is also a haven for nature lovers, with swimming holes nearby and the popular Spruce Mountain hiking trail just waiting to be explored.
Spend your days hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing on your porch as you soak in the beauty of the Vermont landscape. Afterward, head into the quaint village just down the road for delicious meals at local restaurants, or take a quiet evening stroll through the peaceful surroundings.

Other Details to Note
We have two dogs. When outdoors they're confined to our fenced yard so it's likely you won't run into them during your stay. It is likely that you will hear them when you arrive as they greet every car with what I'm sure they consider to be a beautiful chorus. They're very friendly boys.

Kristin and Mike are so friendly and welcoming! They’ve put such great care into every detail. The disco den is a lovely and magical spot to relax and enjoy your time in Vermont. The space is beautifully and creatively decorated - felt like I was existing inside art. 🙂 The window seat was a wonderful spot for morning coffee - so were the rocking chairs on the porch. Kitchen with dishes, keurig, (super cute) fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and water kettle were everything we needed.
The walking trails and the labyrinth are beautiful and were truly good for my soul!
We were so happy to get to visit their sweet and friendly dogs! 💕(Would not have bothered anyone who didn’t want to interact with dogs but for us, it was happy bonus!). Again, Kristin and Mike are just the nicest people and made us feel like friends visiting. We can’t wait to come back!

The Disco Den is a fabulous place to stay! When you arrive the disco ball is spinning and throwing reflections! The attention to detail is incredible, as is the tasteful decor. Wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, great towels, comfortable furniture and a nice porch looking into the forest. Well-supplied kitchenette. The hosts are very friendly and available. Quiet and safe. I highly recommend this place! I loved everything!

This is such a sweet little getaway. Very clean and comfortable and very artfully decorated. I only got to stay one night, but I was totally comfortable and felt at home immediately. I definitely recommend this as a very convenient place to stay in Plainfield. And will look to book again if the opportunity arises.

Loved the theme and how playful the apartment looked as well as all the colors and decor. Perfect place for quiet and relaxation and just chill. Place was exceptionally clean and neat.

Wow- what a gem Kristin and Mike’s place is! Staying at the Disco Den was exactly what we were needing to rest, regroup, & ground for the next leg of our travel adventure. We immediately felt welcomed, safe, and at ease when we arrived. Their property is truly a magical little sanctuary, with so much thought and creativity poured into every little detail. The suite itself was such a cool experience bursting with art, color, and everything we needed to feel comfortable. The land was dreamy: mountain views, a sky full of stars, well kept trails, lush gardens, a labyrinth, fruit trees…I could go on and on. We spent hours outside, soaking it all in. Our only regret was that we didn’t get more time to chat with them- Kristin and Mike definitely seemed like “our people”. 10/10 recommend, we would love to come back for a longer visit!

The Disco Den is spectacular. The pictures don't really do it justice. The space is beautiful and clean, and the surroundings are peaceful and lovely! The room is comfortable and has tons of character. Kristin and Mike were so kind and welcoming. I'd come back in a heartbeat! I couldn't ask for more.

What an amazing adventure. From the gorgeous artwork to their beautiful property to the fun decor in the disco den and our own special card welcoming us, we knew we made the right decision to stay here. Kristin's communication was on point, friendly, and helpful. The whole place gave off such a great vibe and happy energy. We walked the property and stumbled upon a flowing stream, adorable little toads, and cool wood lovin' mushrooms. We walked their labyrinth in the rain and played in the puddles. When we arrived and entered the den we were pleasantly surprised with the disco lights already on awaiting our arrival. With a roofed porch we got to sit outside and enjoy the thunderstorms that rolled in. A hummingbird paid us a visit and stopped for a bit to share it's beauty. I would suggest their place to anyone looking for a unique experience with responsive, friendly hosts who give you privacy but are available if needed.
